Ballard Farmers Market in October
We met up with some friends at the Ballard Farmers Market last weekend. Once again I am reminded how many things we are able to grow and produce well in the Pacific Northwest.

The haul:
Jalapeño Buttery from Estrella Family Creamery
Pork Loin Chops and Alder Smoked Ham from Sea Breeze Farm
Sesame bread sticks from Tall Grass Bakery
Chinese Spinach
Flowering Broccoli
Dahlias
Chili Pepper Wreath
Heirloom Tomatoes
Those pork loin chops from Sea Breeze were by far the best tasting pork I’ve eaten probably ever. I rubbed them with a cut garlic clove, seasoned them with some salt and pepper and grilled them. Nothing else needed.
