Remember Judy Thomas?  Judy is a Seattle native with a long history of studying and making art. She is also an expert gardener. I would call her a local treasure. She will be a featured artist at Urban Earth in Fremont during the next Fremont First Friday Art Walk on Friday October 7th from 6-9pm. This is your chance to see some of her current work for yourself, rather than in my photos which do not do it justice!  She makes pieces you would want indoors

as well as her pieces for your garden.

I can tell you now you are not going to leave without one of these cute little rabbits that Judy made in honor of the Chinese Year of the Rabbit.  Somehow she has worked her magic so that the eye of the rabbit is nearly indistinguishable from a living rabbit’s eye.

The rabbit’s dress can be removed to reveal the rabbit’s little secret…
